Sublimation is the transformation of a body from solid to gaseous without going through the liquid state.
The digital drawing file is first printed on heat-resistant transfert paper as a negative. Then the image is transferred to the final metal support at high temperature (180°C) and high pressure. The ink pigments are transformed into gases and impregnate the substrate to solidify in the core of the metal.
